Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2011 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Broken Arrow under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.

Earl "Johnny' Rooffener was born April 5, 1931 in Coalgate, Oklahoma the son of Earl and Flossie (Bratton) Rooffener. He died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 79 years of age.

Johnny retired from the United States Navy and Kerr McGee as a Boiler Maker. He was married to the former Miss Donna Braslin who preceded him in death in 2006. He moved to Broken Arrow 4 ½ years ago from Oklahoma City. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, camping, fishing, wildlife and watching the History Channel. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN, 38105.
