Breathed His Last Yesterda at 11 O'clock--Two Marriages.
Special to the Observer.
MONROE, Nov. 13--Dr. I. H. Blair died this morning at about 11 o'clock of Bright's disease. His death was almost painless, although he had been suffering severely for several months. The doctor was one of Monroe's best and most widely known citizens. He was aged 64, was a graduate of Charleston Medical College, and been practicing his profession in Monroe for over twenty years. He was a native, however, of Chesterfield county, S. C. His mother, a resident of Mecklenburg, is living yet. Besides those of his family living in Monroe, who are his widow, Mrs. Blair, Dr. J. M. Blair, Mr. S. O. Blair, and Misses Jennie and Mary, the doctor left surviving him Hon. J. R. Blair, of Troy, Montgomery county, and Mr. R. K. Blair, of Charlotte. The funeral services, which will probably be accompanied with Masonic ceremonies, will occur to-morrow.
