Charles A. Stewart, 62 years old, postmaster at North East, died at his home Monday morning following three days illness of pneumonia.
Mr. Stewart who had been active in Democratic politics of his district for several years, was appointed postmaster at North East about a year ago.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret and one son, Harold; two brothers, George of Elk Mills and Walter, of North East, and one sister, Mrs. Anna P. Saul, of Philada."
