Haigler News ~ Leslie Chase, one of the pioneer residents of the Armel country died at his home near Armel, Thursday of last week, following a prolonged illness caused by a general breakdown.
Funeral services were held at the church at the Armel Cemetery Saturday afternoon, March 1, and interment made in the Armel Cemetery.
Rev. Johnson, pastor of the Lansing Methodist Church preached the funeral sermon.
He leaves a wife and large family of grown children to mourn the departure of a kind and loving husband and father that he was.
