Obituary:
Hershal E. Cloyd, 74, Darke county native and lifelong resident of Liberty township, died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home two miles west of Palestine. He had been in failing health for several years.
Surviving are his wife, Grace; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Lees, West Milton; two sons, Harold and Norman, both of RR 3, Greenville; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday at the Miller funeral home with the Rev. Harry Pitts officiating. Burial will be in Palestine cemetery.
