This is an UNDOCUMENTED burial as a tombstone has not been found. The Rosenbalm/Rosenbaum History Book states that he is buried here beside his father.

He was the son of Bernard and Catherine (Winth) Rosenbaum. As a small child he fled, with his parents, to Holland, then to England and on to the New World where Queen Anne promised them free land.

When they arrived in America they were put ashore on the banks of the Hudson River and left there with not a shilling, not a cow or a bite of food. They were placed in work camps to pay off their passage.

A census was taken of them. Simmendinger's list of 1710 included; Berhnard Rosenbaum, wife Catherine and three children. (Anyone over ten was counted as an adult.)
This family was part of the migration to the Swatara region of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Anthony married, 15 Dec 1737, to Barbara Baumann as recorded by Rev. Steover at the New Holland Trinity Lutheran Church.

He owned 200 acres of land in the east end of Hanover township in Lancaster County. (Now Dauphin Co.)

Upon his death, his son, Alexander, reported to the court that the only children were four girls and one son.

He was the father of 6 known children;
1. Eva b-1738,
2. Susanna b-31 May 1739
3. Salome b- Mar 1741, d-bef. his father
4. Alexander b-1742, d-23 Aug 1806
5. Daughter b-abt. 1744, m-George Obermyer
6. Daughter b-abt. 1745
