Mrs. Willie Lois Benton

Mrs. Willie Lois Benton, 61, of Lawrence Road, Jackson died April 25 at St. Dominics Hospital in Jackson.

She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church, past Matron of Radiant Chapter No. 120 Order Eastern Star and retired from Albrition Jewerly in Jackson.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. April 28 at Magee Colonial Chapel with Rev. Ben Purvis officiating. Colonial Chapel of Magee was in charge of arrangements, and burial was at Magee Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Hugh Benton, Jackson; one son, Charles Benton, Biloxi; one daughter, Mrs. Gary Holderfield, Ocean Springs, three brothers, Boyd Bishop, Billy Bishop, Troy Bishop, all of Magee; four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Means, Puckett; Mrs. Ruby Yelverton, Taylorsville; Mrs. Jewell Lick, Jackson; Mrs. Jo Ann King, Chalmette, La.; three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
