MARION - L. A. Hulfish, 67, died in Alexandria, Va., Friday night after an extended illness. Graveside services will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at Rose Hill Cemetery, conducted by Dr. B. F. Allen, pastor of the Marion Baptist Church.
Mr. Hulfish, a native Virginian, moved to Marion in 1920, where he was engaged in farming and other business enterprises. He was forced to retire several years ago due to failing health. After his retirement he moved to Virginia, where he made his home with his niece, Mrs. Ryland T. Dodge.
He was a Woodman, a Master Mason, and a member of the Marion Baptist Church.
Survivors include two step-sons, P. B. Smith and William H. Smith, both of Marion; and one step-daughter, Mrs. K. L. Kimble of Alexandria, Va.
