Edward Bachmeier
Memorial services for Edward Bachmeier, who died Wednesday in a Portland nursing home, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hillside Chapel Inc. He was 74.
Mr. Bachmeier was a retired employee of Publishers Paper Co.
Born in North Dakota, he had lived in Oregon City for 45 years. He was a member of the Association of Western Pulp & Paper Workers, Local 68.
Surviving are his wife, Freida; a daughter Bernice Bryant of Oregon City; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests rememberances be contributions to the American Cancer Society. Internment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
