DOUGLAS EUGENE CARTER, born August 17, 1916 to Horace Eugene and Rhozine Garrison Carter. In all ways he was a fine man, a faithful and loving husband to his wife, Jane Wagner Carter (deceased). He was a strong and caring father to his son, Douglas, Jr., who mourns him. He was a respectful and loving son to his parents and sister, June Carter Montgomery (all deceased). In his business days he was a dependable and faithful employee to all he worked with. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Air Force. On Sunday, August 18, 2002, while engaged in his weekly visitation with his wife, parents, and sister at the cemetery he left us and went to join them in heaven, smiling all the way. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2002. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
