Married twice: 1st to Harris Peydell Edmondson and 2nd to Alexander James Almand on 16 Mar 1920.

After Alexander's death in 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia, Luella (or "Lulu" as her family called her) moved back to Little Rock to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren.
