ELDA MARIE THOMAS, 94 OF TEXARKANA, ARKANSAS, DIED Saturday, March 26, 2011 AT HER RESIDENCE.
Mrs. Thomas was born September 22, 1916 in Texarkana, Texas. She was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harve A. Thomas, Sr. and by a daughter in-law, Pat Riley Thomas.
Survivors include a son, Harve A. Thomas, Jr. of Costa Rica, Central America; two daughters and sons in-law, Pat and Charlie Morgan of Dallas, Texas and Jean and Don Williams of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother, Jimmy Allen of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, Page Morgan, Kyle Williams, and Kelly Turner and two great grandchildren.
Rosary services will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas and the family will receive friends at the funeral home until 8:30 p.m following the Rosary service. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a. m. Wednesday at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Rev. Paul F. Worm officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
