Born May 19, 1971, in Iowa City she was the daughter of Valerie Gayle Neff. She married Kenny Ailor in Kansas in 1991.
She was a 1989 graduate of Burlington High School.
She was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during Desert Storm as an M.P.
She had worked at Federal Bureau of Prisons in Kentucky, where she was awarded as Correctional Officer of the Year and most recently at J.I. Case Company.
She enjoyed horses, watching movies, reading, her dog Frank, and playing Bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Kenny Ailor of Luttrell, TN; one son, Jordan Anthony Ailor, at home; two daughters, Heather Michelle Marie Ailor and Ashley Nicole Ailor, both at home; her mother, Valerie, of Burlington; aunts and uncles, Jerry (Sharon) Neff, Phillip (Karen) Neff, Beverly (Eric) Levitt, Maryann Neff, and Darrel Wixom, all of Burlington; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Dwight and Julia Neff, one uncle, Sheldon Neff, one aunt, Sharon Wixom, and two cousins, Marti Payne and Travis Neff.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Des Moines County Humane Society.
