Lora Alice Ledbetter Teague was born out of wed-lock to Elizabeth(Lizzie) Ledbetter ,daughter of Eli And Mary Ashford Ledbetter .
My grandmaw Lora Teague always said she was raised an Orphan , as her mother never raised her, she was told that her father was William Stinnett and she never knew him , but she was sitting in church one night and the girl with her saw william there and she told Lora that was her father, probably the only time she would ever see him . Her grandmother on her moms side had already passed away and her Grand Father had married again . She was mostly raised by her moms brother and his wife.Harve and Nancy Ledbetter, until she was old enough to work and she then lived in a boarding house and cleaned rooms for her keep.

Mrs Lora Alice Teague,99,Route 6, Springdale,Died February 04, 1979 in A Rogers Nursing Home. She was born October 07, 1879, in Madison County, She was the wife of the late Preston Teague and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two son's,Lemuel and Paul Teague of Springdale, Two Daughters , Mrs Jesse(Ella )Neal and Mrs Carroll(Vallie)Thomas of the Johnson Community. 17 Grandchildren,44 Great-Grandchildren and 17 Great-Great- Grandchildren.
Services will be at 10a.m. Wednesday in Sisco Chapel
Springdale, Burial will be in Aurora Cemetery, Madison County under the Direction of Sisco.
