OCEAN SPRINGS --- Lelia Badeaux Comeaux Wooten, 91, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Wooten was a native of New Iberia, La., and had been a resident of the Coast for 79 years.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Comeaux and Bryan Wooten; four children, Charles Comeaux, Davis Comeaux, Chester Comeaux and Dorothy Gates; her parents, Josette and Duias Badeaux; two brothers, Armond Badeaux and Alton Badeaux; a sister, Laurence Hebert; and a grandson, Roger Poulos.
Survivors include two daughters, Dolores Katz of Bridgeport, Conn., and Jean Brumbaugh of Ocean Springs; a brother, Henry Badeaux of Hawaii; two sisters, Rita Darby of Anderson, La., and Rena Etie of Lauraville, La.; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Biloxi City Cemetery.
