Dies In Oklahoma
Remains to Be Brought to Jackson for Funeral and Interment
P. Q. Fly, 38, former resident of this city but for the past some time living in Oklahoma city, died there this morning at an early hour, according to word received by the family here. Mr. Fly was gassed during the world war, and since that time his health has been failing. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Presbyterian Church. During the war he served with the 144th Aviation Squadron for 14 months in France. He is survived . by his stepmother, Mrs. J. D. Fly of Linden avenue, this city, and she left today for Oklahoma City to accompany the remains to Jackson. Deceased is also survived by two brothers, James and John Fly of Jackson, and two sisters, Mrs. Turner Travis of McKenzie and Miss Jessie Lee Fly of Jackson. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Griffin Funeral Home.
