Mr. Sutton, a Clinton resident for 18 years, was born in Fairmount, a son of the late Andrew and Kathryn Sutton. He operated a trucking business in Clinton for the past 17 years.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Louella Burd, Califon. His wife, the former Evelyn Emmons, preceded Mr. Sutton in death.
Services will be held at the Trimmer funeral home, Clinton, at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery, Clinton. on 10 March 1952.5 Obit:
Funeral services for Lambert Sutton, a native of Hunterdon county, were held from Trimmer Memorial Funeral Home, Clinton, yesterday, Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Paul Goble, resident minister of Potterstown Baptist Conference Center. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Clinton.
Mr. Sutton had been in ill health a long time and died Sunday, March 9, 1952 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg. He was 59.
Born in Fairmount he was a son of the late Andrew and Catherine Sutton. His wife, the late Mrs. Evelyn Emmons Sutton, died several years ago. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Luella Burd, of Califon and several nieces and nephews.
He became a resident of Clinton 18 years ago and embarked in the trucking business in which he was active until his last illness.
