Our beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend, Laureen Labrum Andersen (Laurie), passed away at her home in a circle of love on March 27, 2011 after enduring a long illness.

Laurie was born September 3, 1939 to Orin and Thelma Labrum of Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended high school in Sun Valley, Idaho. She had a career with Parks and Recreation, SL County, where she met many lifelong friends.

Laurie's loving and caring nature led her to Alanon Family Groups, where she and her many friends held positions of selfless service. Together, they were able to travel to many places, cementing a bond of unconditional love and friendship.

Most of all, Laurie was a "World-Class" Mom. She loved her children with 100% of her heart and still had enough left for others. She was a master seamstress and an accomplished pianist.

Of her many accomplishments, she considered herself an excellent fisherperson and enjoyed catching fish more than anything. Laurie was loved and loved well. She will be missed dearly.

Laurie is survived by sons Kevin, Kurtis, daughter Jade, sister Pat (Mike), grandsons James, Chris, and granddaughter Solea Rose.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
