I found online where someone says her obit was published in the Jan 25, 1949 issue of Herald-Democrat, Clarksville, Johnson County, Arkansas paper.
I don't know which marriage was first but have found several places where she was married twice, once to a Williams, and also to a Ricketts.∼Lou Etta was the first daughter of Mellceana Atkinson and Mathias Brasel. Her first child was Homer Atkinson .. later his name was changed to Ricketts. She married first William Ricketts, second James Preston Williams.
