About 1861, Isaac served his country in the Confederacy in Company D, Texas 5th Infantry Regiment.
In 1867, Isaac married Mary Caroline Ashley and together they had seven children. They were Edmond, Frank, Claude, Roberta, Robert, Jesse and Linda Parker.
In the 1870 Census, we learn that he was a farmer and in 1880, he is listed as a merchant. In the 1900 Census, Isaac is still listed as a merchant.
