Jeremiah "Jerry" Waller, 76, of Steele, died Nov. 26, 1988 at Mississippi County Hospital in Blytheville. Born Oct. 10, 1912 in Portageville, he was the son of William A. and Josephine Jones Waller. He was a retired farmer and a member of Bayou Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Opal Waller of Steele; Three daughters, Mrs. Jerline Bates of Tomball, Texas, Mrs. Glenda Byrd of Prattville, Ala., and Mrs. Vicky Castro of San Francisco; One sister, Mrs. Ruth Curtis of Kennett; And five grandchildren.
Services were Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. at Steele Church of Christ, Mark Raulerson and Walter Lumpkin officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele in charge.
Pallbearers were Will Bates, Gary Don, Donald, Billy and Bryan Callis and Gary Bruton.
