Daughter of Dea. James Aiken 1731-1817 & Mary "Molly" (McFarland) Aiken. They were of Scotch descent. There is a Molly Aiken Chapter of the D.A.R. In 1914, they erected the Memorial Gateway to the Old Antrim Cemetery (now Center Cemetery).
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Antrim.
