He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Joe loved his country. He proudly served his country in the Army and retired from the Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Mary Burlison, and daughter, Jackie Burlison.
He was survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Francis Marie and his children, Mary Miller, Brenda Simpson, Debbie Woolery, Joylynn Farber, Jimmy Burlison, Johnny Burlison, Janice Wiers, Terri Burlison, Sheryl Bridgewater and Joe Don Burlison. He was also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, with Pastor Roger Velasquez and Pastor Reese Logan.
