Lucy Tucker died August 27, 2002 in Port Orchard, Washington due to complications of a stroke. She was 87.

She was born July 14, 1915 in Port Orchard, Washington to John and Josephine (Stevens) Shattuck.

She attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington.

Lucy married William "Bill" Tucker in Seattle, Washington in 1948.

She was in real estate sales for Pacesetter Homes in Seattle for 15 years; and, was a sales clerk for the Liquor Board in Edmonds for many years - retiring in 1974.

She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary #2338 of Port Orchard, Washington. She also served the South Kitsap Helpline; refurbished various stuffed animals for donations to hospitals and many other children's organizations; was treasurer for the Mosquito Fleet and was Woman of the Year in 1992.

She is survived by brothers Tom Endsley (and wife Marge) of Port Orchard, Washington and Elder Shattuck (and Barbara) of Omak, Washington.

Services will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, Washington September 3, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Concluding service and burial will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, Washington. Ceremony will be by Port Orchard Eagles Auxiliary #2338. Reception will follow commital.
