Daughter of Rev. Tillman H. & Rebecca L. (Cobb) Hampton;

Nancy L. Little was born in North Carolina on Feb. 7, 1859, and died at her home in Clever on Feb. 12, 1937, aged 78 years and five days. Her husband, Uncle Dan Little, passed away about six years ago. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Emma Turner of Clever and Mrs. Sarah Rhodes of Logan; four brothers, Rev. Wm. Hampton of Marietta, Ga., Joseph Hampton of Springfield, Marshall Hampton of Clever and Turley Hampton of Montrose, Colo. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, in the Clever M.E. Church conducted by Rev. Young, with burial in the Wise Hill cemetery under the direction of the Wilburn Maples Funeral Home of Clever.

Please add Nancy's biological mother to her memorial. She was Sarah Lucy Shope. She is on the 1860 Union County, Georgia Census with her parents Tillman and Sarah L Hampton. Her mother died shortly after she was born and her step mother Rebecca Cobb Hampton raised her.
