She was married to Chester Byrd and to Fred Louis Rowell.
She worked in a factory in California until she had a work injury. She worked in the Department Stores in the late 1940's and 1950's where they did not allow the sales clerk's to make change. They had to send the money in a tube up a money shoot where they would make change and send it back down to the sales clerk.
She was always a wonderful housewife, who kept a neat kitchen after every meal. She loved visiting with her family and even made time for me once when I was having to write a Psychology paper in College. She let me include her in my paper. She will be missed by her neighbors and family.
