Died – Mrs. J. J. Zetterower, Wed. Surviving are her husband; children, Mrs. Arlene Brannen and Joe Zetterower; three grandchildren. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Z. T. DeLoach and the fourth of eleven children in the family. Still living are A. L. and R. J. H. DeLoach. Her husband is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Zetterower. The Zetterowers were among the first settlers at Old Ebenezer Church community in Effingham Co. and were Salzburgers. Mrs. Zetterower's paternal ancestors were Huguenots who came to America about 1650 and settled in Isle of Wight Co., Va. Later they migrated through the Carolinas to Georgia, reaching the State several years prior to the Revolution. Several won distinction for bravery in that conflict. Capt. Hardy DeLoach, of Revolutionary fame, was one of Mrs. Zetterower's ancestors. Burial in East Side.
