The Bulloch County native was a life-long resident of Statesboro. He was a graduate of Statesboro High School and Georgia Southern College. He retired from Georgia Power Co. as a foreman after 48 years of service. He was also a member of Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church. He was a Mason.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rocena Cail Olliff of Statesboro; two sons, Dr. Joe F. Olliff Jr. of Augusta and William C. Olliff of Lawrenceville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral: 3 p.m. today at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church, burial in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro. Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro.
