Born in Wales to Edwin Jones and his wife Sarah Smith Jones. Originally settled in the Bay area. Married Daisy M Brunschwiler and they had three children there, she died 1924. He moved to Southern California after marrying Lilllian Florence Hogben, they had one daughter Nanci Lillian Jones. He lived in the same area as his brothers and sisters and extended family many of whom are also buried in Sunnyside.
