Georgiana R. Aaron-Rogan, 83, of Leavenworth, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Providence Medical Center in Kansas City.
She was born on January 3, 1924 in North Chicago, IL to the late John Henry and Ann Elizabeth (Bruendl) Bink. She attended and graduated from high school in the Chicago area.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Church community and was involved in the Daughter's of Isabella.
Georgiana worked at the Great Lakes Naval Base from 1940 until 1944. She later worked for the Leavenworth Appliance from 1960 until 1967 and then retired from the Leavenworth County Sheriffs Department after 14 years of service in 1981.
On December 22, 1944 she married Leo B. "Bernard" Aaron. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1977. She married Bernard W. "Bernie" Rogan on December 20, 1980. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a grandson: John Aaron.
Georgiana is survived by 5 sons: Michael Aaron of Corpus Christi, TX, John "Jack" Aaron and his wife Diane of Kansas City, KS, Patrick "Pat" Aaron and his wife Cynthia of Leavenworth, Louis "Lou" Aaron of Leavenworth and Richard Aaron and his wife Connie of Leavenworth; a godchild: Carol Anne Schmidt; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
