Vera Lowe Magleby passed away April 25, 2002 at the age of 101 years. She was born Nov 3, 1900 in Monroe, UT to Joseph H. and Roscena Jensen Lowe. Married Joseph W. Magleby Aug 31, 1921. She was active in church and community activities. Belonged to literary and study groups,
wrote many family histories and church programs. She served in volunteer work, reading to the blind and was a Pink Lady at the LDS Hospital for many years.
She is survived by sons, Joseph Thad (Nola), Bud, Gail; daughter, Carol (Don); eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tues. April 30, 1 p.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. and Tues. one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the staff and nurses at Christus St. Joseph Villa for the loving care given to their mother the past four years.
