Paul Martin Koehler was the son of Frank and Anna Koehler. Paul was born in Nebraska and in 1940 his family was living in Bancroft Nebraska.
Paul M Koehler served in the US Navy in Patrol Squadron (VP-7). He was a crew member on a P2V Neptune patrol airplane. After completing their assignment in the western Pacific, the crew was headed home. Sadly the plane crashed into a mountain after a missed approach on NAS Barber's Point on the island of Oahu, Hawaii on 22 Jan 1954. All crew members perished. Crew member Walter J Hanzo is buried in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Paul Martin Koehler.
