---Funeral services were held Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. F.L. Hudson officiating.
---Interment was in the La Plata Cemetery with bearers, Ralph Bragg, Clyde Lock, Glen Mansfield, Don Begole, Bill Coons and Maynard Schneider.
---The daughter of James W. and Emma R. Kingman Meeks, she was born July 19, 1886 in Millard.
---In June, 1954, she was married to D.W. Strausser at Canton, Ohio.
---Surviving are one step-son; one sister, Ethel Meeks Mansfield of La Plata and one brother, John Meeks of Napa California.
---Preceding her in death were two-half sisters, two half-brothers and one son.
---She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
