She married Donald Frank Howard and had with him a son, Donald Frank Howard JR. Together the family travelled to Alabama and Utah due to Don's Army career. She lived in Worcester for many years.
She married a 2nd Husband, Warrell Ruggles Bohaker after the death of Don. They lived for over 30 years in Paxton, Massachusetts. At her death, she left her son, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, one nephew, 3 nieces and their 3 daughters.
