Mrs. McMillan Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Lizzie Greer McMillan, age 79, of North Hodge, died early Monday morning in the Jackson Parish Hospital, after a long illness.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, in the Sweetwater Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Toms and Rev. Billy Carter conducting.
Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Womack of North Hodge and Mrs. Eunice Massey of Jonesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Walsworth, Mrs. Ella Mae Woods, and Mrs. Vera Alexander, all of Jonesboro; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers were Dewey Harvey, James Harold Stewart, Namese Dubois, Lee Watkins, Billy Ford and Dewitt Jones.
