John Knowles, age 72 years and pioneer of Utah, died at 6 a.m., Thursday. from a shock to his nervous system, following a surgical operation.
He leaves several sons and a daughter. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, in the North Layton meeting house. Bishop Harris officiating. Interment in Ogden City cemetery.
