Mrs. Susan Hodge Died Saturday at the Long Branch Hospital.
Mrs. Susan Hodge of Highlands, widow of William Hodge, died, from a complication of diseases Saturday night at the Long Branch hospital. She had been a patient at the hospital ten days. The body was brought to Worden's funeral home and prepared for burial. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Highlands Methodist church. Burial was made at Stone Church cemetery.
Mrs. Hodge was 51 years old and had lived at Highlands all her life. She was the daughter of the late William F. and Catherine B. Parker. Her father died last February.
Mrs. Hodge leaves a son and two daughters, they being William T. Hodge and Mrs. William Griswold of Highlands and Mrs. Raymond Phillips of Hoboken. She also leaves a brother and three sisters. They are Furman Parker, Mrs. Viola Bush and Mrs. Harry Swartz of Highlands and Mrs, Julia Anderson of Glen Ridge.
