DOWNS - The funeral for Paul R. McMichael, 82, Downs, will be at 10 am Wednesday at the Domoney funeral home here, the Rev. Bill Ester officiating.

Mr. McMichael died Saturday at the Smith county hospital.

Mr. McMichael was born Sept. 6, 1890, at Topeka, and spent most of his life in the Downs area working as a railroad postal clerk.

He was a member of the Downs Congregational Church and the Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges. At one time he served as Grand Patriarch of the Kansas IOOF organization.

Surviving are the widow, Mildred, of the home; 3 sons, Kenneth, Clearwater, Fla.; Paul, Santa Monica, Calif., and Harold, Niles, Mich.; and a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Kraut, Hawthorne, Calif.

Burial will be in Plainville cemetery. Friends may call at the Domoney funeral home, Downs, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
