Mr. Bradish died Thursday morning (Aug. 22, 1985) at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes; a daughter, Mrs. James (Elaine) Brothers of Rochester; two sons, Carl of Potsdam and Larry of Keene, N.H.; a brother, Lawrence of Colton and Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Lorna Manley, Mrs. Paul (Arlene) Green and Mrs. Harris (Elda) Russell, all of Potsdam; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bradish was born in Potsdam on Feb. 15, 1916, son of Seaver and Mabel Lamore [sic] Bradish. He graduated from Potsdam High School.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 44th Engineer Construction Battalion in Germany. He attained the rank of staff sergeant and earned the European-Africa-Middle East service medal. He also served during the Korean Conflict, from 1949 to 1952.
He married Agnes Murray in New Hartford, N.Y. on Sept. 19, 1948. He worked as a mason on area construction until 1962, whene [sic] he was employed as a mason at Potsdam College. He retired in 1975.
Mr. Bradish was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, the Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
