Eldon Gilbert Berg, 62, of Decatur died 2:32 a.m. Friday (Dec. 22, 1995) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery, Decatur.
Mr. Berg was born Dec. 2, 1933 in Maroa, the son of Roy and Floy Locke Berg. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He had worked as a small appliance repairman. He was a member of the National Roller Pigeon Association and was an active Billy Graham supporter. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He married Norma L. Cameron in 1956.
Surviving are his wife; children, William A. and wife Mary, Vicky L. and Eldon Ricky, all of Decatur; grandchildren, Erica, Erin, Ashley and Jacob Daniel; brothers, Floyd L. and James A., both of Decatur; sister, Darlene of Decatur; former son-in-law, J.C. and former daughter-in-law, Paula; several nieces and nephews; two dogs, Sparky and Rusty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
