Edward Robb Hackathorn of Cape Fair, Mo., passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2007, in Cape Fair, at the age of 79. His survivors include his wife Dorathy of the home; three sons and their wives, Kevin and Pamela Hackathorn of Kimberling City, John and Mary Ann Hackathorn of Reeds Spring and Jack and Theresa Amidei of Wayne, Pa.; four daughters and their husbands, Roxy and J.D. Baxter of Aurora, Mo., Diana and Jeff McCaffrey of Cape Fair, Chris McDonald and Dale Hlabik of Wichita, Kan., and Mary and Bill Beck of Kimberling City, Mo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Chet Hackathorn of Corydon, Iowa; and a sister, Patricia Wenzel of North Aurora, Ill. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the Williams Funeral Chapel in Marionville. A second visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, in the First Baptist Church in Cape Fair. Burial with full military honors will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Mo., under the direction of the Williams Funeral Home of Marionville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Cape Fair, Mo.
