Allowee Vickers Peacock Murphy died Monday April 12, 2004 at Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. A native of Coffee County, she had lived in Bacon County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Eli and Eunie Luke Vickers and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. She was predeceased by 2 husbands: Oden John Peacock and George Murphy. She was survived by 2 sons: Kenneth(Wanda) Peacock and Danny Peacock of Alma, 1 daughter Jo Ann Mullis(Edwin) of Alma, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Funeral was held Thursday April 15, 2004 at 11 a.m. from Big Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. David Miller, Rev. James Wilcox, Rev. Vic Peacock officiating. Interment followed in Big Creek Cemetery Crosby Funeral Home of Alma was in charge of arrangements.
