Born Aug.12,1935 at New Douglas, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Leah M.(Johanntosettel) Elmore. she married Fred Eugene Newcum July 12,1954, at Coffeen. He preceded her in death Nov 28,1975. She then married Don Roach April 5,1980 at Coffeen, and he survives.
Mrs. Roach lived her life in Coffeen and Mulberry Grove. she graduated from Coffeen High School in 1953. She was employed as a bank vice president. She held memberships in the Ladies Civic Club, Hillsboro, Eastern Star, Super Set club, Hillsboro, and Central Christian Church, Greenville.
Survivors include her children, David L. Newcum of Coffeen, Terri(husband Greg) Jachno of Hillsboro, Susan K. Newcum of Coffeen, Donald E. Roach of Mulberry Grove, and Carla J.(husband Tom) white of Mulberry Grove; 13 grandchildren, Ashley(Traylor) Wilhelm, Joshua Tuetken, Christopher LaMacchia, Marybeth Ann LaMacchia, Connor Jachino, Kyle Jachino, Kelsey Jachino, Mikayla Roach, Braedon Roach, Dane Roach, Ashely Luzon, Alexia White and Madison White; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tom Elmore of Irving, James Elmore, and Gene(wife Sandra) Elmore all of Coffeen.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Art Elmore.
