And God shall wipe away all tears their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.
Revelation 21:4.

Mrs. Agnes Lucille Holsey Pullum, daughter of Mrs. Elma and the late Joseph Samuel Holsey was born in Eldorado, AR; on September 4, 1926. She attended and completed high school at Tipton Street High School. She also attended Jackson State, Rust, and Tougaloo Colleges.

In 1946, she was married to Mr. Charlie Warren Pullum, who preceded her in death on February 9, 1964. To this union, five children were born.

She became a Christian when she was a very young girl and began her work in Christ's Kingdom in the First Baptist Church, Kosciusko, MS; and has been a faithful worker for many years. She was especially loyal to the work of the Sunday School, Missionary Society, and the church choir, never refusing a task because she was too busy or because she was too tired.

Today we are silent to pay tribute to a person who has lived among us, one who went about doing good and who always put Christ first in everything she did. During her illness, she leaned heavily on the Lord.

Lucille was a lovable person and was willing to be a friend to all. Being a teacher by profession, she has helped to mold the lives of many boys and girls. She taught in the following schools; Holsey, Little Hill, McCool, Ethel, and Greenlee, and was presently employed at the Long Creek High School.

With the spirit of life gone on, the spirit of her way of life shall ever remain to keep us guarded.
To be able to smile in the storm
To be watchful and careful and constant in prayer;
To be useful and wanted, to live every day
That whenever the bell tolls for you, you'll be happy to say.
Though my end is at hand - I've done all the good I could do,
This is the life of our friend who has gone.
May those behind catch the light of her life.

She departed this life, Friday evening, on August 22, 1969, in the University Hospital, Jackson, MS.

Her survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Barbra Joyce Pullum Barnes, Butler, AL; Mrs. Elma Ruth Pulllum Lofton and Mrs. Brenda Louise Pullum Griffin, Los Angeles, CA; Miss Everlee Pullum, Kosciusko, MS; one son, Charlie Warren Pullum, III; three sons-in-law, six grandchildren, a loving mother, Mrs. Elma Holsey, Kosciusko, MS; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Louise Smith and Mrs. Robertene Collins, Kosciusko, MS; Mrs. Josie Corinne Craig, Gary, IN; seven sisters-in-law, seven brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
