Born on a farm near Shannon, on Dec. 19, 1876, Mr. Linker had resided in Shannon and this community his entire life until a few years ago. He is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. John Linker of Shannon, three brothers, George and Albert Linker, both of Shannon and John Linker, Brookville, five sisters, Misses Melinda and Mary Linker and Mrs. William Straw, all of Shannon, Mrs. Orville G. Sturtevant, Rock Island, and Mrs. Mahlon Rahn, Freeport and three daughters, Misses Thelma and Lorrian Linker, both of Freeport and Miss Lois Linker of Mt. Carroll.
