Willmetta Frank Mann~ a native of Clayton, California, died in Santa Rosa at ninety-seven years of age.

She was born in Clayton in 1913 in Clayton to William and Metta Stockfleth Frank. Willmetia's roots in Clayton date back to the 1870s. Her grandfather John Stockfleth was a sea captain and when was ashore he and his wife Isabell Wilkie resided on the Stockfleth ranch where Pine Hollow Middle School exists today. Her Frank grandparen~ Frederick and Elizabeth Bisher Frank lived on the Frank. Farm near Mount Diablo Elementary School, where Willmetta was born. -

Charles Glen Mann and Willmetta were married in the garden of the Frank family farm and spent fifty-nine years happily married. Their lives together and hets after Charlie's death were filled with good music, good dancing, good friends, and many close relatives. She loved parties~ flowers and her "bridge club'. The Concord Senior Citizens' Club provided a host of new friends and activities to partially fill the void left by Charlie's absence.

WilIme1ta is trredeceased by her husban~ Charles in 1996, her son, Stuart Mann in 1972, her daughter, Doris Jean Mann Allen, wife of Micbael Allen in 2006. Willmetta is survived by her daughter, Charmetta, who resides on the original family farm, and a daughter, Alice Mann Stewart and her husband, James of Santa Rosa, who lovingly cared for Wil1metta for the past four years. Willmetta was grandmother of four and great-grandmother of nine. She will be especially missed by her childhood friend and cousin, Marie Frank Larson and her dear sister-in-law, Wilda Mann Farrar.

Among her affiliations were the Clayton Community Club, Rebekah Lodge, Clayton Historical Society, Concord Historical Society, Ladies of the Elks, Clayton Old Timers.

At her request, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
Private interment at Live Oak Cemetery will occur at a later date.
