Mrs. Rosa Abood Rites Wednesday
Brief funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Abood, 64, of Amchite, Mt. Lebanon, and a resident of Shreveport for the last 27 years, who died at her home at 1111 Line Avenue early Monday morning after a long illness, will be held from the family residence at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday. Following the services at the house, the body will be carried to Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a requiem of high mass will be celebrated by the Right Rev. Msgr. Francis Van Haver, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery under direction of Wellman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Edmond Eltife, Fred Nackley, Joseph Karam, Ed Nader, Tony Abraham, Tom Eltife, Tom Manzell, Charles Unis and A. M. Nasser.
The body will remain at the family residence until the hour for the rites.
