Mrs. Franco was born in Cornland, daughter of Basil and Margaret Humphrey. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was formerly a private piano teacher. She was a member, musician and past worthy matron of the Guiding Light Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She also was a past president of District 17 of Progress Rebekah Lodge and belonged to Royal Neighbors.
She married Humbert Franco who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Lucille Hayes; son Richard Price; 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. One son, three sisters, two brothers and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.
