Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Church of God in Bandon for Thomas Harrison Scott, 72, who passed away Friday at R. V. Leep Memorial Hospital following a year's illness. The Rev. H. D. Streever of Seventh Day Adventist church in Coquille officiated. He was assisted by Rev. C. L. Nichols of Church of God. Interment was at the IOOF Cemetery.
Deceased was born August 10, 1874 at Leavenworth, Kansas, and died at the age of 72 years, five months, and 27 days. He had made his home in Bandon since 1923, having lived in Canada and Kansas prior to that time. He had been retired for a number of years.
Survivors include his widow, Laura, two daughters, Mrs. Edith Cotter of Fairview; and six grandchildren.
