John Campbell Died Tuesday
John H. Campbell aged 86, died at his home in Franklin Tuesday, February 25. He was born in Violet Hill, was a farmer and a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Grace Campbell of Franklin: eight sons, Arthur and Cecil both of Washington, Ernest of Sandtown, Dolphus of California, John W. of Myron, Orville J. and Junior both of the home and R. A. Wolford of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs Nellie Bates of Myron and Miss Jean Campbell of the home: 22 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at the Franklin Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Violet Hill. The minister was Rev. Hugh Cooper, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Melbourne.
